About Ali Rezvan
Ali began his esports journey at just 15 years old, volunteering for Gfinity in League Operations. Balancing school and his passion for competitive gaming, he quickly took on the responsibility of running online tournaments for up to 800 players daily. By 18, Ali joined Gfinity full-time as the League Operations Event Manager, overseeing high-profile projects for brands like Microsoft, Activision, and more. Notable events led by Ali include the CWL 2019 London (widely regarded as the best Call of Duty event in European history), HaloWC in London and Mexico City, Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi, and Forza in China and Seattle.
In 2021, Ali transitioned to Esports Engine, serving as Competition Operations Manager for the newly formed UK team. Here, he led large-scale events such as TwitchCon in both Amsterdam and San Diego, while working closely with major clients like EA, Supercell, and Activision.
In 2022, Ali shifted focus to the production side of esports, taking the opportunity to join the Esports Awards. By 2023, he had quickly risen to lead and develop the production for the annual show. A standout moment in his production career came when he helped break the Guinness World Record for the largest screen ever used to play a video game—an achievement that required both technical and creative leadership. The show has won several prestigious awards.
Throughout his career, Ali has demonstrated a deep passion for esports, a commitment to innovation, and the ability to execute complex events with precision and creativity. As the esports landscape continues to evolve, he continues to push boundaries, combining the lessons learned from his early days in League Operations with a forward-thinking approach to production.
